Messier 81, Bodes Galaxy in Ursa Major

M81 is the largest galaxy in the M81 group of galaxies with about 30 members. It has an active nucleus fueled by a 70 million solar mass central black hole. M81 is 11.8 million light years away while Andromeda and Triangulum galaxies in our local group are less than 3 million light years away.
